whatthey say
Working for The Marketing Room has allowed me to run my own business, while also working for my clients provided from The Marketing Room. I love not being stuck at home all the time and interacting with people while still doing something I love. I feel completely supported in and out of TMR, it can be hard running your own business but having the support from TMR is so helpful in knowing that you’re never alone, if you have a question or just need that additional support.
Working for The Marketing Room is a dream come true. Being able to hold a senior marketing position and make a positive contribution to my clients, all while only working part time and on my own terms is just fantastic. While most other employees tolerate working parents, The Marketing Room absolutely embraces us, values our experience and seeks to support and develop their team in every way possible. I truly believe the TMR model is a win-win for both the team and the clients!

social mediaMANAGER
Our model is very simple. We provide organisations with an in-house outsourced Social Media Manager. Working inside their business (predominately) we develop then implement their social media strategy. We don’t do EDMs, websites, paid ads or SEO – just awesome organic social media.
As one of Australia’s largest, dedicated organic social media agencies, we are continually investing in and driving new business opportunities. Hence, we are able to provide you with as many additional clients as you need. Our clients are typically engaged on a 24 hours per month basis with a dedicated time spent in-house one day a week.
You need to be a self starter, confident and comfortable guiding your clients on their social media journey.
You’ve invested a lot of blood, sweat and tears into building your own social media business; however, you miss what working with a larger team has to offer.
So why not have both!
All of our Social Media Managers do just that! Continue to operate their business but work with anywhere between 1-4 clients through The Social Room. Our clients benefit from having highly experienced social media professionals working in their business, and we provide you with all the benefits of being part of a bigger team without you having to give up your own business.
Through our national affiliations, we have access to dedicated weekly and monthly training/learning sessions with the dominant social platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn . There are broader digital marketing learning opportunities made available to the entire team. Plus, we run dedicated sessions as a team during which we share and discuss ideas and trends in social media.
The team is led by a highly experienced Pod Leader. They are involved in every new client kick-off workshop, pop in once a month to check-in and help with your client/s and is also available as a sounding board for any ideas you’d like to bounce around. They are a wealth of knowledge and always avaible to support the brilliant work you do.
One of the best bits about being part of a team is the social aspect. We appreciate everyone has busy lives hence why we don’t place unrealistic expectations on everyone. We catch up as a team once a month with a fortnightly catch-up optional for anyone who’s keen! In addition, we have a killer Xmas party that is always a must attend.
